Editor's Review
Pokémon GO is a location-based augmented reality game. Using a mobile device's GPS and camera, players explore real-world locations to find, catch, and collect virtual creatures called Pokémon. These creatures appear overlaid on the live view of the player's surroundings.
The core gameplay involves walking to different areas to discover new Pokémon and visiting real-world points of interest, called PokéStops and Gyms. At Gyms, players can battle with their collected Pokémon. The game also includes features for trading Pokémon with other trainers and participating in cooperative Raid Battles.
How To Play?
To move your avatar, physically walk with your device. The map and your location update in real time using your phone's GPS.
Tap a wild Pokémon on the map to encounter it. In the capture screen, hold and drag your finger to throw a Poké Ball. Swipe left or right to use your Berries before throwing.
Interact with PokéStops and Gyms by tapping them and spinning the photo disc with a finger swipe. Tap your Pokémon collection, the nearby tracker, and the main menu button to access all other features.
